50pcs MSP-FET430 - same com port?

Hello

We use about 50 pcs MSP-FET430U80 for class work. Every different adapter creats a new com port and needs administration rights for driver installation.
Is there any way that all 50 adapter use the same com port and there is no new need for driver installation. (match firmware?, match driver)

    This is not intended. What if you attach 127 different FETs to the same computer? (It's USB, it is possible!)
    So each FET has its own device ID, and each device with its own device ID requires its own driver installation. Sometimes, even if you attach the same device to a different USB port, it requires new driver isntallation :(

    If you can ensure that you will always get the same COM port is to manually (re)configure the COM port number after driver installation.
    However, you will have to do this for each and every device. That's how USB is defined and has nothing to do with the drivers and cannot be avoided with a driver patch. It's the USB stack of Windows (or rather: of any OS with USB support) that works this way.
