msp430FR5969 launchpad bricked after firmware update

I got the LCD dev kit, played with it, wrote my first application for fr5969.  CCS 5.5 prompted me to update the firmware I click go and now the board doesn't show up on the device manager.

I'm thinking I can JTAG's from from one of my 2 board stellaris CAN dev kits.  But I would think that allow me to use the fr5969 without the very nice virtual serial port usb, etc.

    If eZ-FET part (MSP430F5528) is bricked you can re-flash it by SBW / JTAG (by other MSP430 LP or FET), over test point connection.

    If on-board target FRAM device is bricked, you can unlock it by BSL.

    Thanks that led me to the documents I needed and my board is now up and running again.

    In case anyone else has the same problems here is what I did to save you a couple steps.

    Downloaded the firmware package from http://software-dl.ti.com/msp430/msp430_public_sw/mcu/msp430/MSP430_ezFETLite/latest/

    Downloaded the MSP430 flasher utility http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/MSP430_Flasher_-_Command_Line_Programmer

    I hooked up my stellaris jtag (which would not have been supported I later read) and this reset the board so that it came up in the device manager USB Interface Device I think.  But the important part is that the USB bootstrap came back up and this was enough for me to use the MSP430Flasher utility to reflash the Debug MCU.

    I typed the following command line, 


    MSP430Flasher.exe -n MSP430F5528-w "EZFET_LITE_Rev1_1_FW_3_3_0_6.txt" -v -g -z [VCC]

    Said Yes when it asked me about updating it after it had finished, and now it works!

    Hi All I have this problem. But additionally I deleted ALL FW from my msp430FR5969 launchpad. I thinking, that this FW is available in TI website, but not! And my launchpad is bricked in.
    What i tried:
    1) With my MSP-FET430UIF i download FW EZFET_LITE_Rev1_1_FW_3_3_0_6.txt.
    2) Connect it to the PC and tried to debug the project.
    3) CCS offered to me update FW and after td-td it is bricked (but in the system it is) and not work.
    I want return all back! Please tell me what i need do!
    I can buy new bord, but 1 month it will ship to my country((((.
