EK-TM4C123GXL: Interfacing with CC3120BOOST

Dear Team,

I recently bought a CC3120BOOST and would like to interface it with the my TM4C evaluation kit. I find it very difficult to find any article to understand how to interface CC3120 with TM4C. Where can I find any examples or articles related to interfacing TM4C with CC3120BOOST?

Hi,
There is a TI reference design with CC3100 and TM4C123. Please take a look at it. www.ti.com/.../TIDM-TM4C123IOTSTEPPERMOTOR

As far as I know the CC3120 devices have increased security and lower power applications compared to CC3100. I will suggest you check with the SimpleLink forum for any software migration from CC3100 to CC3120 if there is any at all.

I checked the forum and I did not find much info. It will be helpful if you can point me to any example. Further its very odd that most of the examples on the Host Interface uses MSP432.

Sorry, we don't have any more examples (for CC3120) other than the TI design (for CC3100) that i have provided. If you find examples for MSP432 then you should be able to port them over.

That is because both CC3120 and MSP432 are part of the TI SimpleLink SDK platform, whereas TM4C is not a part of that platform. Therefore the examples using the CC3120 tend to favor the processors that part of the SimpleLink platform.
