Hi Team,
Can we directly connect EK-TM4C123GXL with TIRSLK-EVM? If not, do we have a pin conversion table that shows the connections between the EK-TM4C123GXL with TIRSLK-EVM?

Danilo

Hi Danilo,
The TIRSLK-EVM is designed to work with the MSP-EXP432P401R LaunchPad. The major difference between that MSP432 LaunchPad board and the TM4C123 is the extra J5 header which connects to the robot and provides additional pin functionality.
You can view the Pin Map for the TIRSLK-EVM here: http://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/SEKP171
Since using the TI-RSLK MAX chassis with the TM4C123 LaunchPad is out of scope of the design, it may not be directly compatible, however if you can connect pins from the J5 header to available pins on the EK-TM4C123GXL it may be possible to make a workable conversion. I have not looked into the feasibility of this.
Also note the EK-TM4C123GXL shares a similar but not exact same pin out as the MSP-EXP432P401R so that also needs to be checked that the pin functionality is possible on the BoosterPack connectors when attached to the TI-RSLK MAX chassis.
Since you wish to use a different MCU, it is possible to buy the individual components of the TIRSLK-EVM from Pololu. This will allow you to exclude components if they don't fit well with the conversion.
Hi Mark,
Thank you for the clarification. These are very helpful information we can share to the customer who prefers using EK-TM4C123GXL on TIRSLK-EVM.

Danilo
