LAUNCHXL2-RM57L: RM57Lx Launchpad Ethernet based bootloader.

Part Number: LAUNCHXL2-RM57L
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: RM57L843,

Hello,

I'm working on an ethernet based bootloader for microcontroller RM57L843.

Starterware/LAUNCHXL2-570LC43: LAUNCHXL2-570LC43 - Hercules safety microcontrollers forum - HerculesTm safety microcontrollers - TI E2E support forums
Regarding to this topic I'm curious if this kind of bootloader is able to work on the LAUNCHXL2-RM57L.

The ethernet line and the RM57L843 microcontroller is fine for this kind of ethernet based bootloader? Do I need any kind of new hardware element to be able to achieve this functionality?

One other thing. Is the RM57L843 MCU able to run the code which was created for TMS570LC43x MCU? What kind of modifications do I need to make to run the codes from that thread on my launchpad?

Regards,

Aron
