Hello Forum,

The Updated ICDI drivers for Win8 and Win10 has been uploaded to the following link

http://www.ti.com/tool/stellaris_icdi_drivers

The older ICDI drivers is right now pointing to the new package and as the web page transitions it will be corrected in the next 24-48 hrs.

A great thanks to Tsuneo Chinzei in helping us out with the driver analysis independently

USB drivers for examples of TivaWare will be updated as well with the next release of TivaWare scheduled for Mar-Apr 2016. In the meantime if there any issues with the new ICDI drivers or older USB example drivers, please respond to this post.

The download link appears to be broken. Clicking it just opens the png using either Edge or Chrome.

OK, I see that you put the link just above the graphic in the first post:

The buttons still are just graphics. I was able to enter the address and get the driver.

OK Now I get it. The Image is of how the page will appear when the user clicks on the link. Let us know if the new drivers worked.

Hello Luis,

Double click on the .cat file. If it shows the image as below then they are signed correctly. We have tested it on a Win10 VM and they work correctly.

Hello Luis,

The real test is out in the field. In house testing can only be a process check.... Real issues come from the field.

Hello,

I'm running the TivaWare C-series usb_dev_cserial example for the ek-tm4c1294xl board and I'm still not able to get Windows 10 to recognize the board as a USB COM device. Under device manager the USB device is listed the same as under Windows 8, TivaWare USB serial port but any time I try to connect to it I get an error. I tried the update in this thread assuming the stellaris update would work for TivaWare but no luck. I also did have to disable driver enforcement even though it looked like the .cat file showed the correct signature.

The same exact board connected to a Windows 8 system works fine. Anything I can do to help resolve this issue so that the board works on Windows 10?

Hello Juan

The drivers that have been updated are for the ICDI-JTAG, ICDI-COM and DFU. The example data base drivers are yet to be released.

Hello Juan,

The planned software release is Mar-Apr time frame, however we are trying to see if we can make a standalone package as an intermediate release. Any update will be posted on this thread and on the forum.

I am on on a tight timeframe to ship composite USB Serial. This has been an issue since October. I may need to switch to another example solution if the timeline is April.

Hello Dan,

We are checking with legal on licensing/waivers if a sub package of the software release has to be released as a standalone package. I can push the case to accelerate it, but it may still take some time (not as bad as Mar-Apr)
