DRV10987EVM: Error during software startup

Hi Michael,

Customer used Win7.

He tried your solution, but the problem still cannot be solved. Is there a requirement for the main frequency of PC's CPU?

Hi Annie,

Here's something things I'd like to confirm:

• Are you running the program as an administrator and do you have administrator rights to the computer you are working on?
  • If not, you will need administrator rights for the DRV10x.
• Is the yellow LED on the USB2ANY illuminated and steadily on (i.e. not flashing)?

• If the LED is flashing, simply unplug the USB2ANY from both the board and the computer and plug it back in. The LED should remain on at this point

After all steps, please start the GUI and make sure the DRV10987EVM is powered up correctly as outlined in the DRV10987 EVM User's Guide Quick Start Guide section.

There should be no problem running this on windows 7. Let me know if this works.
