DRV8308: About restarting while the motor rotation is stopped

Part Number: DRV8308

Hi,

I was looking for a way to restart the motor before it completely stopped spinning.

As one of the methods, the Hall element is used in the motor, but an external switch is installed in the power line of the Hall element and the signal of enable is used to shut off the power supply of the Hall element in conjunction with enable.
Then, the Hall element signal is cut off and the motor coasts at the same time, but when the enable signal is input, the motor can be restarted without waiting for the motor rotation to stop completely.

・In the case of this method, is there any adverse effect or damage on the IC side?

Regards,
