DRV8908-Q1: Solenoid valve driver recommendation

Hi Team,

Any solenoid valve driver chip recommend to work together with TPIC7218? 

Customer need 8-channel current solenoid valve low-side driver + 2 high-side NMOSFET driver. And the drive current needs to reach 2A.

    Hi,

    DRV8908-Q1 has 8ch half bridge and each channel can drive 1Arms. With parallels mode of 2ch combined, can drive 2Arms. Therefore 2pcs of DRV8908 can support 2A(by 2ch) x 8 low side drivers.

    Other families are DRV8912(12ch), DRV8910(10ch).DRV8906(6ch), DRV8904(4ch) FYI.

    DRV870x-Q1 is gate driver. e.g DRV8706-Q1 has two Half drivers. It has independent half-bridge control mode. With this mode, DV8706-Q1 can drive 2 high-side NMOSFET.
