Design Help

Hi,

Good Day. I have a customer who wants to more about motor driver. Please see below his query for your reference. Thank you very much.

I have a bldc motor with hall sensors I am interested in finding out how to use your software, and anything else I may need to build a controller assy, my two speeds I will be concentrating on are 1800 rpm and 3600 rpm

do you offer any software dealing with RF this should greatly reduce the amps tot he coils, the voltage on these motors are roughly 310vdc, 3 ph

so I am guessing a 400vdc [ power supply, feeding this motor would be what ever voltage selected, divided by 3 ph

I have a bldc motor 310vdc I expect to run at roughly 1800 rpm and anther at 3600 rpm

now do you offer a driver that has say an rf output?
rf output tot he motor?

I am wondering if this is what I am looking for, I have seen others testing a bldc motor to run other items, but they used a 400 vdc power supply and a insta-controller for the driver, says from TI

so if I use a 400vdc <5 amp power supply, I can expect my voltage to be reduced by a factor of 3 due tot the phases, insta-spin driver

then I assume you make the modules to purchase to assemble this to make this motor run correctly I am guessing

what items are needed to get my started to make this work and get me on the road to learning this.

Best Regards,

Ray Vincent

  • Hi Ray,

We do not support motor driver solutions over 100V DC and do not support RF drivers. If you are using IGBTs or GaNFETs, I recommend posting to those forums.

If you are looking for support with sensored FOC, I would recommend looking at the C2000 forums for support with InstaSPIN-FOC.

    Thanks,
