DRV8818: Current waveform distortion

Hi E2E,

We use DRV8818 to drive a motor motion. 8 Subdivision, the pulse frequency is 18K, the current waveform distortion appears.

how to adjust and modify it?

In addition, When the motor at high speed, the peak current does not reach to 2A.

We suspect that the Tdrive time is insufficient, we are trying to reduce RC and Toff time. Is this the right approach?

    Hello,

    I suspect that the BEMF of the motor at high speeds is reducing the applied voltage on the motor coils.  The only solution to this is to raise the voltage in your system.  I would try this first.
