MCF8316AEVM: Unable to download GUI

Hi Team,

The customer purchased the MCF8316AEVA evaluation board last year and now uses it for the first time. He connected the cables according to the installation instructions, but could not download the GUI. The download page shows a 403 error. Where could he download the GUI?

Is it because the firmware and GUI have been upgraded that the original GUI cannot be downloaded?

How to download the re-downloaded firmware to the board? Is this the source file of ccs? Does customer need to compile and re-purchase the 430 development tools to download and flash the firmware?

The old GUI can still be accessed/downloaded from the Cloud TI Gallery here.

Please refer to this E2E FAQ regarding GUI firmware compatibilities. It also includes the MSP430 firmware files and instructions for programming the communication interface that are compatible with the old and new version of the GUI.
