DRV8912-Q1: PWM

Part Number: DRV8912-Q1

Hi team,

My customer is experiencing the following issue when testing the DRV8912-Q, could you please help give some comments?

Thanks.

Background: The customer drives the multi-ported valve using the DRV8912-Q1 PWM.

Problem: During the start-up momentary (after the enable half-bridge, before the enable PWM), the low side of the enable will be pulled up and have drive capability.

Test procedure:
1. single step, observe the PWM output when the half bridge enable is completed and the PWM is not enabled.

The red line is the PWM high side and the blue line is the PWM low side.
The low side of the PWM is pulled high and the load is running, with drive capability.

2. In order to verify whether the individual difference, the customer exchanged the enable on the high and low side to observe the waveform

The following figure shows that the low side is actually pulled up after configuration

Configuration Order:
Initialize:
1, PWM channel enable
2, PWM_FW enable
3, PWM_MAP
4, PWM_FREQ
5, PWM_DIS (all closed)
Main function:
1, PWM_DUTY configuration
2, PWM_Half Bridge configuration
3, PWM_DIS (turns on corresponding PWM enable)
Turn off all PWM_DIS enablers when PWM changes are checked

Thanks.
