MCT8329EVM: MCT8329 GUI not connectng reliably

I have also tried with different cables but the connectivity issue is not resolved

I am getting 3.3V at AVDD, but the device is not being scanned on I2C.

I am getting 3.3V at AVDD in both switch positions i.e. when S4 is at wake and when S4 is at sleep.

Hi Prabhat,

1. Can you check that all the jumpers on J9 are populated?
2. Can you tell me if D14 or D13 (the LEDs by the MCU) light up when you connect the EVM to the computer?
3. Can you tell me what voltage is being output by DVDD?

1. Yes all jumpers are populated.

2. Yes both LEDs turn ON

The link you have refered to says I need external MSP430, which I don't have.

To program the MSP430 firmware onto the MCx EVMs, you will need a MSP430 LaunchPad (such as the MSP-EXP430FR2355) and 4 female-female jumper wires to connect the programming pins as shown below:

Connect the MSP430 LaunchPad to the computer through USB, then navigate to the TI Cloud Uniflash tool.

I have  a TMS320F28069 Launchpad, can you share how do i use eZ-FET debug using my launchpad??

Unfortunately the TMS320F28069 launchpad is a part of the C2000 microcontroller product line which does not use the eZ-FET as the debug probe and instead uses a XDS110 debug probe. We recommend either purchasing a MSP-EXP430FR2355 or a product which has the eZ_FET debug probe listed in the feature list on ti.com.

Now this is something which is really frustrating, you buy a 250$ Eval board and to evaluate that you need to buy another board.
