MCF8329A: Some registers could not write data

Part Number: MCF8329A

Tool/software:

Hi team,

My customer is evaluating MCF8329A in their project and met below issues, could you please help review and give some suggestions? Thanks.

Customer found that some registers could not write data when testing I2C using MCF8329A.
Take REV_DRIVE_CONFIG as an example:
This is represented by all zeros in the data bytes of the waveform (This I2C field actually sends specific data 0x48300000) and read this register to find that the data bytes are also zeros. However, when the customer writes 0x00021345, the registers can be written normally.

This test anomaly occurs on customer's own board and the customer can read and write registers normally on the EVM.

The abnormal registers are as follows, and the remaining registers are read and write correctly.

Regards,

Ivy
