Tool/software:
Hi TI,
From the following URL,
"If LED D6 lights up immediately after plugging in USB, then the EVM has the old MSP430 firmware, and it will work with the old GUI Composer GUIs.
If LED D7 lights up immediately after plugging in USB, then the EVM has the new MSP430 firmware, and it will work with the new Motor Studio GUI."
I have a MCF8316AEVM in hand, and LED D7 lights up immediately after plugging in USB, so it should be new FW.
But the "MCX83XXEVM-MSP430FR2355-GUI-FIRMWARE" downloaded from the MCF8316AEVM introduction page seemed to be the old one.

Because there's the following MACROS define in Defines.h:
#define GPIO_PORT GPIO_PORT_P2
#define GPIO_PIN GPIO_PIN2
And it should be D6 LED.
We want to use MCF9316C-Q1 on another MCU which is not MSP430, so I want to migrate the GUI code so that we could still use MotorStudio on our MCU. So where could I get the new firmware which works with the new Motor Studio GUI?
Thanks,
Alex
