Hello,

We are using UC2625MDWREP as a commutation chip which generates gate pulses for High side and low side outputs for controlling three phase BLDC Motor. With UC2625MDWREP , max 20V motor can be directly connected , but we have a requirement of 400V.

Motor requirement is as follows:

Voltage - 400V

Current - 5A

Is there any gate driver IC along with integrated mosfets which takes the gate pulses from UC2625MDWREP to control the motor.

Hello Joshua,

We have a DC Current of around 5 to 6A on the motor where as phase current is around 7A. These are the instantaneous values.

Hi Asha,

Thank you for the response.

I do not believe we have a device that will exactly match these specifications, but the closest match will be our new 650V, 5A peak GaN driver, the DRV7308.

Please let me know your thoughts after you have a chance to look into this option.
