I've installed ControlSuite and MotorWare but can't find the schematics for this open source kit..

I'm interested in seeing if (how) they are using the DRV83XX (<60V) for controlling 350V motor.

    Thanks,  since that's the schematic for the PFC TMDSHVMTRPFCKIT Kit (Piccolo F28035 & Delfino F28335)..  is the output driver stage the same across all the high voltage kits, with just different control cards (TMDSHVMTRINSPIN (F28027F) or TMDXHVMTRKIT5X (F28055))?

    Thanks Rick, I appreciate the info! 

    From a logistics point of view, it probably makes sense to have 2 high voltage kits (TMDXHVMTRKIT5X & TMDSHVMTRPFCKIT) that differ only in the control cards.

    Just to get the rest of the pieces straight..   only the 'M' series piccolos have secure ROMs that support InstaSpin-MOTION (like the one found on the TMDSCNCD28054MISO control card), while the smaller 'F' series have ROMs that support InstaSpin-FOC.   Both do sinusoidal commutation, and the gui for each can be found in motorware addon.   

    The older InstaSpin-BLDC is based on Stellaris and does not have a custom rom, so it will work on all TMS320F28XXX (F,M,etc) using trapezoidal commutation.   It's gui (Crosshairs Embedded) is found in the controlSUITE /powerSUITE download.

    Is this correct?

    Also, when incorporating the Piccolo or the Delfino on my own board, can the tuning GUIs be used or are they too closely coupled with the kit hardware (usb, etc)?

    Questions regarding the C2000 are best answered on the C2000 forum. They have experts on the mcu and firmware there.

    I suggest you post questions there.
