sensor less (Method-ripple current counting) brushed DC motor

Hello All,

I am working in sensor less (Method-ripple current counting) brushed DC motor for the automotive application. By counting the ripple (frequency around 2.4kHz) on the motor current the speed and position are estimated. As per ISO 16750-2 the super imposed voltage will be applied on the battery line (Amplitude-2Vpp-offset-12V, Frequency-50Hz to 25 KHz) how to filter out these noise? Since the motor inductance is less (400µH) and available capacitor in the Board is 170 µF .These values are not sufficient to filter out the noise.

Please suggest some cost effective method to filter out these noise?

Thanks in advance
