DRV10987: what difference between DRV10983Q1 and DRV10987？

I am user DRV10983Q1 and  DRV10987  ,  the same  board , motor and  configure， DRV10983Q1  run  very good,but  DRV10987  not run .  DRV10987   Not move at all   for  any  configure, why?   Test 3 boards, the same result..

    Hello Lun,

    There are a few differences between the DRV10987 and DRV10983-Q1 but let's get the basics first. Upon loading the configurations settings to the DRV10987, can you please read back the EEPROM registers to make sure that the writes were successful? If they were, then can you please post your settings here? If not, can you please tell me the method you are writing to the registers? For example, using the DRV109xx GUI, using a separate MCU, using the EVM, using a custom board, etc.

    Note, if you are using the DRV109xx GUI, a DRV10983-Q1 save configuration file will not work with the DRV10987. You will have to manually set the settings in the GUI and save a separate configuration file for the DRV10987.
