DRV8307: DRV8307 Charge pump flying capacitor voltage levels

Yes these will be voltage pulses. For the exact voltage level, it depends on your system.

The voltage range of CP1 and CP2 is the same as your VM as this cap is used to switch in the VM supply when the charge pump operates.

Actually I tried but didn’t get the EVM as of now. Can you please let me know what is the expected power dissipation through the low side mosfet and high side mosfet for a 12v system?

This is dependent on the RDSON of the FET and the power you are driving to the motor, nothing I can estimate.

thanks for the reply, i just wanted to ask that theoretically the DRV8307 will not allow high side & low side mosfets to be turned on at the same time. When the low side mosfet is on what will be the expected power dissipation assuming RDSON = Ron and supply as VDD. Alternatively you can assume the mosfets to be CSD88537ND and VDD = 24v
