BOOSTXL-DRV8323RS: Overcurrent during motor ID Rs estimation

Using Launchpad LAUNCHXL-F28069M and BOOSTXL-DRV8323RS with examples proj_lab02b and proj_lab02c. The motor ID routine estimates R/L = 1000 correctly, but causes overcurrent while estimating Rs. Seperately, I measured Rs = 0.24 Ohm per phase. My power supply is set to deliver 12V, 10A. What could be wrong? user_j1.h is attached.

When I look on a scope, voltages for motor phases A & B diverge by over 5 V, which is too much. The red trace shows the difference.

Did you download the HAL files that were offered with the DRV8323 Booster Pack add-on to Motorware 18? I am referring to the .zip that was offered here: https://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/c2000/f/171/t/635499

And you should set the below four parameters based on the specification of your motor.

#define USER_MOTOR_RES_EST_CURRENT (1.0)
#define USER_MOTOR_IND_EST_CURRENT (-1.0)
#define USER_MOTOR_MAX_CURRENT (2.0)
#define USER_MOTOR_FLUX_EST_FREQ_Hz (20.0)

Yes, I'm using those files. Since posting my question I've tried proj_lab05b and 05c, which do do not cause over-current, unlike lab02b and 02c. But there are still issues: The estimated value of Rs is very small (1e-8 or so), which is incorrect. FYI, the motor turns OK after tweaking the lab01b example.

The problem is resolved by adding capacitors C9-11 on the BOOSTXL-DRV8323RS. See this thread and this thread.
