Hi team,

in d/s show that the quiescent current of TPS7B7702 is 0.6mA(typ). but customer test the Iq will higher than 3mA with out load. below is their schematic, can you help comments below questions:

1. what's the test condition in datasheet and what's the circuit? does it enable the current sense fucntion?

2, what will cause the higher Iq?

3. can you comments why the Iq of customer circuit is higher?

Hi Betty,

Will you help to provide the exact condition, including voltage(or current) on all the pins of the LDOs when they measure 3mA?

hi Jason,

above sch is customer test condition, input is 12V, LDO work in switch mode, output is 12V without load in room temp !

can you share the Iq information when the 7702 work in switch mode? thank you
