Hi

The maximum voltage of the VDD pin is only 22V. When it is used in the whole vehicle, it needs to be connected to an external 28V voltage for 1 min. At this time, the VDD voltage is 28V. Could this chip pass this test? Or any other devices could pass the high voltage test?

    Hello Zirui,

    The UCC27712 is limited to 22V abs max as you mention, and cannot be guaranteed to pass 28V for any amount of time. I did not see any half bridge drivers that can support the 28V VDD rating on ti.com and I think is unlikely there are any half bridge drivers available otherwise with this high of VDD rating.

    Is it possible to have a series resistance and voltage limit on the VDD pin to address this condition?
