Sure I will try to share what you have asked. Can you just let me know from the schematic that ILIM at 1Kohm and ICHG at 667ohm is too low. Since my load requirement is around 2.5A. 

Do we need to decrease both the ILIM and ICHG resistor?

The ILIM and ICHG pin restricts the charge current and input current, if the input current is limited by the ILIM then the charger will go to supplement mode to draw power from the battery to the system node, it should not oscillate.

Can we short ILIM pin for maximum current i.e 3.2A.

 Thank you for checking. Can you just check the schematic because output requirement we want is around 3 A and we have changed ILIM to 160 ohms but still we are not getting the desired current?

Sorry for the delay, we are discussing internally with our team. We may not have a answer about the ILIM pin being shorted until next week.

The charger will supply up to 3A output, this includes battery charging and system load. Can you show IBUS, IBAT, and ISYS? Can you also share scope captures of the fluctuations you reported seeing?

I cannot see any oscillations occurring, what is the Vpp of the ripple? Can you share a different scope capture showing the oscillations with more clarity?
