UCC28610: UCC28610 applied circuit output voltage control inquiry

Part Number: UCC28610
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TL431

Hi, TI expert.

The customer used UCC28610 to configure the circuit.

TL431 is applied to the secondary feedback stage and the output voltage is set to 15V, but it is said that the output voltage is 5.5V.

Even if you change the time constant, it is said that there is no change at the output voltage of 5.5V.

Is there a problem with the circuit below?

What part do I need to change to adjust the output voltage to 15V?

Please check. Thank you.

  • Hello,

I reviewed the schematic and the AD431A has a 2.5V reference and the R225, R224 R231 divider is setup to control the output to 15 V.  The schematic seems to be functionally correct.

You might to want to start by seeing the transformer turns ratio is correct.  You can use the UCC28610 Webench design tool to do this.  UCC28610 data sheet, product information and support | TI.com.  I know that is for single output but  the output voltage are all the same.

You can check the primary magnetizing inductance by making the single output for the total output power.

With the tool you can actually check the compensation and UCC28610 setup as well.
