Can the LMG3425R030 be used for positive and negative voltages?
If not, is it possible to combine two of these to switch between a positive and negative voltage?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Erik,
Thanks for your question. The devices cannot block voltage in the negative direction. They are only able to block positive voltages. We currently do not have any documentation or reference designs that switch between positive and negative voltages.

John
Hi John,
Thank you for your swift reply.
Do I understand you correctly that these devices cannot be used for generating AC?
Best regards,
Erik
Hi Erik,
I may have misunderstood your question. While the devices cannot block negative voltages, they can still be used in the case of an inverter for dc-ac conversion. In an H-bridge inverter, for example, the devices never see a negative voltage when in the off-state.
Let me know if this helps.
Best Regards,
John
