TPS62170: Vout gap between PWM and PFM

Hello Support team,

In case of  TPS62065, the output voltage has 1% gap between PWM and PFM according to datasheet below.

I guess that TPS62170 may have similar output voltage gap between PWM and PFM mode.

But I couldn't find the similar description in the datasheet of TPS62170.

How much level voltage gap will happen between PWM and PFM for TPS62170?

    Hi Hirokazu-san,

    TPS62065 has dynamic voltage positioning which TPS62170 does not have. So, there is no voltage gap present between PFM and PWM. However, due to the higher ripple in PFM, the VOUT can be higher in PFM than in PWM.
