Looking to substitute Linear LTC1174

Yes, we are looking to subsitute the LTC1174 part, which is a buck converter with very high efficiency, espc. at low loads, but can also deliver high loads (it automatically switches between high power and power safe modes).

We need 3 converters in the design: all from 12-15V battery:

1) 3.8V power for cell modem, 10mA but bursting up to 2A

2) 3.3V MCU power, very low power ~250uA

3) 5V power for sensor, might also be on all the time with ~200uA load.

For simplicity and volume, it would be great to use the same part for all three.

PS: I dont see these part in general distribution. Are they new?

Sorry, the correct part number is TPS563211 or TPS562211. 

you also can look at tps563202, tps562202, tps563201, tps562201 ... 

They all seem pretty similar (some 2A and some 3A).  Which are the newest design with longest expected lifetime, and which are most available in today's market?

TPS563211 is the newest design, it is available in the market. 

On octopart we only see stock with Texas itself, which seems a little strange.  Is that because the part is new and not yet pushed through distribution, or will it always be sold only direct? thx.
