Hi support team.
Is it okay to recognize that the TPS51215A supports IMVP9?
I found an example application for IMVP9 in the datasheet.
If this product supports it, is the answer to the following post incorrect?
Best regards,
Higa

Hi Higa,
TPS51215A is for Vccin_aux rail and not a Vcore power solution.
Here in datasheet it mentioned "Intel IMVP9 platform", that can be understood as "Intel platform with IMVP9".
For the Vcore power solution, it's a multiphase controller and multiphase controller belongs to another product line in TI. As I know, TI doesn't have a IMVP9 Vcore power solution currently.
Thanks,
Andrew
Hi Andrew-san
Thank your for your reply.
I understand.
I have an additional question.
Does TPS51215A support the adjustable DC load line(load line control) as the Intel's optinal featuere for VCCIN_AUX?
Best regards,
Higa
Hi Higa,
Thanks for your question. TPS51215A itself doesn't support DC load line but we have a discrete solution to implement the DC load line with an external operational amplifier combined with TPS51215A. We have made a demo board and completed some validation with it. I think the result is good.
If you are interested in it, you can send email to me (andrew-xiong@ti.com) or Yuchang (yuchang-zhang@ti.com). We can share more information with you.
Thanks,
Andrew
