Our customer would like to know the minimum input voltage required for the 5V output regulation of LM63635DQPWPRQ1 IC.

    Hello

    The drop out voltage will depend on the inductor resistance, among other things.

    This device also has a frequency foldback feature that allows regulation down to small drop out voltages.

    This is explained in the data sheet.

    I have attached a calculator tool that the customer can use to determine the drop out performance after 

    entering in the appropriate resistance values.

    Also, I have attached the component calculator tool that the customer can use to determine appropriate

    component values for their design.

    TI will be happy to review both the schematic and layout when the customer is ready.
