Do we have a shut down based on current limit chip

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: INA301-Q1, INA381-Q1, INA381

Hi team

My customer would like to ask a portfolio that:

1. AEC-Q100 level device;

2. It will shut down when get overcurrent condition;

3. The basic topology is the 12V battery then connect a Flyback power supply, we need to shutdown the circuit with a IC who has the ability that could turn off the circuit based on current limit, thank you.

  • Zirui,

    Based off the customer wants above, I would recommend having a look at the INA301-Q1 or INA381-Q1.

    The INA301-Q1 is an automotive grade precision current sensor with an integrated comparator for fast overcurrent detection. The INA381 is a cost optimized version if the relaxed specs work for the customer.
