LM61460-Q1: POR and Vin slew rate requirement

Part Number: LM61460-Q1

Hi team,

I have a question about VIN power up slew rate and POR of this device.

1. Is there a requirement in power up slew rate for VIN?

In my case(automotive), there is a case that takes about 30seconds to power up.

Is there any concern for such a very slow or very fast ramp rate?

2. If Vin drops around the threshold of POR, is it required to fully discharge Vin or apply reset after Vin increased above POR?

I would like to know if the device will automatically recover from such Vin drop.

regards,

  • HI

    1. we don't have requirement for slew rate of Vin, 30s should be OK for devices  power up

2 the device will automatically recover from vin drop, no need to fully discharge Vin.

and I will more suggest customer can test EVM based on these condition.

    Thanks

  • Hi,

I'd like to add that for question 1 that very fast slew input slew rate may impact the internal ESD circuit/structure. However for more applications of 1V/us, this should not be an issue.

    Regards,
