Hi Team,
Our customer wants to use LP2998-1 for DDR3L. The input voltage of DDR3L is 1.35V, and our minimum input voltage VDDQ is 1.35V. Can it work normal at all condition?( customer is worried about it)
Thanks.

Hello,
I understood the power input voltage PVIN and VDDQ are both connected to 1.35V. Is that right? What the customer is worried about?

Hi Mahmoud,
Yes, you're right. The problem is that if PVIN<1.35V can it work normally? What is the buffer range of the 1.35V? For example, 1.3V~1.4V.
Sorry for I have not known the socket before and may ask a basic question to you. Thanks for your sharing.
Hi Iris, the part is production tested at 1.35V and 0.2A load current. I believe it should work at 1.3V at limited load current. The regulation may be worsen at higher load current. What is the load nominal and peak load current? Does the customer care about the regulation or just want to make sure the VTT volatge still alive when PVIN = VDDQ is at 1.3V?
