TPS2H000-Q1: R(CL) range

Hello team,

1. What is appropriate current limit range to set for TPS2H000-Q1? Is this 50mA to 900mA as specified in the CL accuracy? Does it mean appropriate R(CL) range should be 4.8kOHm - 267Ohm?

2. The abs max table shows "current on CL pin" is 6mA.

Does it mean R(CL) < 133Ohm cause the issue to the device?

Are there any other scenario that we should take care to comply this abs max?

Hi Hirata,

1. Yes that's correct. The internal current limit is 1A, so the external current limit should be less than 0.9A as datasheet specifies.

2. Yes that's correct. As it's out of the range for proper current limit, this should not happen in the application cases. In the design, make sure there's a proper value of resistor is connected at CL pin and there's no short to ground, and it should be okay.
