I want to make high voltage dc/dc converter without transformer.

and the voltage would be up to 400V, but the maximum load current is under 10mA.

I will use the typical schematic from the datasheet(as below).

of cause I'll change the FET for high Vds

Is there any problem or limitation for this idea?

any advice, I'll be happy.

and the input voltage is 12V

I've checked the reference design ( https://www.ti.com/tool/PMP20212)

But it's output current is only 10uA.

how can I increase the current to 2mA?

Hi Hyung-gu,

Thank you for your interest in the design. Output current can be reached as long as your input power supply can supply the required current. I would also make sure that your diodes and capacitor RMS current rating is high enough since you are constantly charging the capacitor and will have spikes in current.
