Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24072
testing with the BQ24075 shows that charge current drops as input voltage drops (resistor values are chosen to deliver 1A during fast charge portion of cycle). This behavior is NOT seen with BQ24072. The operating range for both chips is 4.35 to 6 V. However, we see current drop off above 4.35 V with the BQ24075 but not with the BQ24072.
Can you please tell me how to configure the BQ24075 to maintain charge current down to rated voltage?
