BQ40Z50: BQ40Z50 SMBus can't access device

My target device is BQ40Z50. There is a problem with BQ40Z50 HW design.
I have designed a minimum system board with a QFN socket. I don't expect the device do application, such as I don't need battery management.
Just programming flash via SMBUS.
But I can't access device via SMBus on our board at the moment.
Could you help to confirm the HW design?
The attachment is our schematic. Does it need to improve for HW?

Hello Yuxuan,

bq40z50 is expected to be used as a gauge. It is not designed to be used for other purposes. The EVM is the best guide. I suggest that you use an EVM for reference.

Hello Shirish,

We just use to program IC by SMBus, do not use other function.

And need to design the most streamlined HW when using SMBus.

Could you help to confirm the HW design?

Hello Yuxuan,

You will need to add other components as shown on EVM or reference design. You can remove components at your own risk.
