Hi, TLV62569 support team
The datasheet is not defined on the delay time or deglitch time for current limit detection. Could you show the design value or the actual value of the delay or deglitch time?
Thanks
Tamio

Hello Tamio,
The delay time for current limit detection usually comes from propagation delay of the comparator until it can trigger the current limit. But in the datasheet of TLV62569, it is not mentioned because it is using a higher inductor value 1uh or 2.2uH (less slope), so 20-30ns delay is not going to impact the current spec as much.
(20-30ns should be the typical value for the delay)
Just make sure of using the inductor with higher saturation current as compared to switch current limit.
Thanks and Best Regards,

Hi, Farheen,
I have one more question.
The current limit is defined only minimum value. Customer need the maximum current limit value to select an inductor. Could you show the maximum value to me?
And also, according to customer evaluation, the current limit worked when the load current is 2.8A. It show that the current limit is approximately 3A.
Could you share the normal-distribution of the current limit with me by the off-line?
Thanks
Tamio
Hello Tamio,
Which package of TLV62569 your customer is using as it varies from package to package? Then I can look into the distribution for this parameter.
Thanks and Best Regards,
Farheen
Hello Tamio,
I am sending you an email to share the information.
