BQ24092: How to set a voltage value to charge the battery up to that level?

Part Number: BQ24092
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25180, BQ25171-Q1, , BQ25170

Hello,

I am working on charging a 1-cell battery up to it's 40% or 50% of State of Charge.

Using an op-amp as a comparator with a transistor as a switch is one of the ideas but I wonder if I could do that by using the Charger IC itself.

Can I set a voltage level e.g., 3.8V (assume that it corresponds ?% of State of Charge of the battery) to charge the battery up to this level?

I am open all your suggestions, ideas, experience results etc.

Best Regards,

Caner
