Hello,

I want to design a powersupply from a three-phase network (400V AC) to 24V with 20A. Does anyone has a good design-suggestion?

Hello Adam,

Thanks for posting this question.

Do you need 20A continuously/nominally or is that a peak requirement? (This will help clarify which topology is best suited for your power level)

If you're planning to use analog control, the following reference designs have similar specifications to yours. You can start with these as a reference. You'll need a PFC stage with an LLC, PSFB, or a resonant topology stage

Hello Andrew,

thank you for your response. I need 20A continuously and peaks with max 30A for a few ms are also possible. I am planning to use digital control because I want to see the current and so on.
Thank you for the reverence designs but I didn't found one for an input of 600V. Do you know if there are some for 600V?

Hello Adam,

Thanks for clarifying your current requirements and specifying that you're planning to use digital control.

My apologies on the parameters of the reference design, I missed filtering by the minimum voltage input.

While we do not have a design that meets your exact specs of 600 V input, with 24 V output, and 30 A peak current out, the following design could likely be adapted to your needs.

I'm not able to answer that, for this question please submit a new or related forum post with the UCD3138 as the GPN. You can also mention the design tool name (PMP21309) in the title of your post with the specs you'd like to update. At the very least you'll have to increase the voltage ratings of your components including capacitors and switches.
