Is it possible to charge batteries from an attached solar panel while discharging to a USB-C device?
Considering it is a single inductor system, I doubt it.
We are attempting to design a small, portable battery bank that can be charged by a solar panel and output to USB-C, and doing both of those at the same time is a design requirement. Inputting to the battery via USB-C is also required when sunlight is not available. Otherwise, we will look into using a BQ25792 with a dedicated MPPT chip.
