There is an example of typical application and use of UCC27201 IC on the data sheet for the UCC27201

I trying to understand the purpose of R13 and R14 as well as consideration for the resistance value (1K) on this application.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Thank you for your question. R13 and C44 are used as an RC filter on the LI input for reducing the impact of system noise and ground bounce. Likewise, R14 and C43 are an RC filter for HI input. The RC constant of these filters is ~20ns, which is acceptable so the rise time and fall time are not too slowed down.
