Hi sir,
we are using LM5164 converter for step down operation with input supply 48-54V.
This converter driving 1mA load with 173khz frequency in diode emulation mode operation.
But the problem was to reduce EMI we are planning to keep snubber across low side switch contains capacitor 10nF, resistor 0.3ohms.
While power the converter inductor (68uH) releases smoke, what was the reason.
Whether dc-dc converter operation in CCM mode at <100mA possible or not, even though we calculated inductor value as per load current switch waveform shows DEM mode.
