Will the switcher withstand a 202 V, 350 ms load dump if this is clamped to 60 V?

Hello

The abs. Max. rating of this device is 44V. Any voltage above that value will cause damage to the device.

You might want to look at one of TI's 60-V devices. Such as the LMR36015.

Where does the 44 V come from? The datasheet says 4.5 V to 50 V.

and maximum rating 65 V.

That's why I ask if the LM34919C-Q1 can withstand a load dump 350 ms, clamped to 60 V.

PS: The one you suggested may suit my design, but it is out of stock and unknown when it will be available. The LM34919C-Q1 is in stock.

My mistake I was using the wrong data sheet.

The abs max for that device is 65V. So, your 60V pulse should be OK.
