TPS40055 rising or falling edge sync

I am looking at the datasheets for the TPS40055 and the TPS40055-EP.   The EP version says that is syncs on the falling edge of the SYNC signal and the non-EP version says it syncs on the rising edge of the SYNC signal.  Are the two parts different or could this be an error on one of the datasheets?
