LM317L: IADJ,min

Part Number: LM317L

Here some info. need your support for customer's design analysis.

1. What's the min. value of the ADJUSTMENT current?

2. In the E/C table, the ref. voltage has 1.2V,min and 1.3V,max. What's the possibility of these values in mass production? is it following the 6-sigma statistics?

  • Hey Brian,

Could you please give me 2-3 business days to find this information and get back to you?

    Thanks,

    -Jimmy

  • Hey Brian,

    1. The minimum value of the Adjustment current does not really matter. A larger Adjustment current value will decrease the accuracy of Vout from the equation from the datasheet below:

    2. The possibility of the reference voltage being between 1.2V and 1.3V is most likely greater than 99.99% since the spec is tested and guard banded.

    I hope this helps!

    Thanks,

    -Jimmy
