TPS543C20: Iocp tolerance test setup.

Part Number: TPS543C20

Customer is using TPS543C20 and trying to adjust the Iocp per data sheet equations. They would like to know what the test setup/testing method that is used in factory to guarantee OC tolerance=+/-10% with Rlim=33.2K with load at 35A as specified on page-9 in the data sheet.

    Hello Alek, 

    This was characterized on ATE and tested  on Bench. On the bench, the inductor current is monitored during the OFF state of the FET, then the we verify if the OC tolerance  is meet. in this case it is within +/-10% for RILIM of 33.2K and +/-15% for RILIM of 23.7K.
