Hello,
We would like to turn off the accessory charging while VBUS is high. Is there a way to control PMID_GOOD over I2C?
Can you recommend another way to control the Boost charger?
Thank you,
Ambroise

Hi Ning,
After further investigation, we can not turn off BST_CONFIG while USB is inserted. Is there a way to set BST_CONFIG 0 while USB is inserted?
Thank you,
Ambroise
Ambroise,
Could you please provide the charging operating conditions such as VBUS (voltage at VBUS pin), IVBUS, VBAT (voltage at BAT pin), IBAT, VSYS, ISYS and all the register readings before the VBUS USB is inserted?
Thanks,
Ning.
HI Ning, the satus is as follows:
Vbus: 0V
Ibus: 0mA
Vbat: 3.565V
Ibat: 0mA
Vsys: 3.565V
Isys: 0mA
Best regards,
Ambroise
Ambroise,
Could you please also provide the charger operating conditions such as VBUS (voltage at VBUS pin), IVBUS, VBAT (voltage at BAT pin), IBAT, VSYS, ISYS and all the register readings after the VBUS is inserted?
Thanks,
Ning.
Hi Ning,
Following the data after VBUS is plugged in:
Vbus: 5.13
Ibus: 151mA
Vbat: 3.593V
Ibat: 198mA
Vsys: 3.63V
Isys: 0mA
Best regards,
Ambroise
Ambroise,
Referring to 8.3.4 Boost Mode Operation From Battery on the d/s, Boost operation is enabled if certain conditions are valid. One of the conditions is VBUS less than VBAT + VSLEEP (in sleep mode).
Thanks,
Ning.
