Hi Michael,

It looks like both device will fit in the same socket, but there are 2 things I noticed in the DS that are a bit different.

Softstart

Lm5005 yields 1.2mS of startup with a 10nF Capacitor.

LM25005 yields 1mS of startup with a 10nF Capacitor.

Not sure why this is the case, as the formulas are identical if you isolate for Css.

The curves are ever-so-slightly different. I recommend re-picking the RT value if you want the same switching frequency.

Use this formula to get the desired switching frequency:

The EC table for the parameters (current limit and such) are identical, so there's little reason to change the inductor.

Although, I would recommend 2 * 2.2uF MLCC's though for the input Capacitance instead of the 1 * 1uF you have.
